A CAP (cognitive augmentation package) is also called a "cheat sheet". It augments (adds to) cognitive capability - the ability to process information. It is simply a device that allows you to 'offload' some things that may contribute to a heavy 'cognitive load'.
A CAP also functions as a device - a trick - to help you study. Creating a CAP helps you organize and prioritize the material. The process of making the CAP is as valuable than the CAP itself, although having it during a test may provide relief from test anxiety.

** RULES **

  1. Use a single 8.5" x 11" piece of paper - ONE side. (no flaps or attachments).
  2. All information MUST be in YOUR hand-writing.
  3. Your NAME must be written (clearly & big) on the back.
  4. The CAP MUST be handed in with the test.
