A CAP (cognitive augmentation package) is also called a "cheat sheet".
It augments (adds to) cognitive capability - the ability to process
information. It is simply a device that allows you to 'offload' some
things that may contribute to a heavy
'cognitive load'.
A CAP also functions as a device - a trick - to help you study.
Creating a CAP helps you organize and prioritize the material.
The process of making the CAP is as valuable than the CAP itself,
although having it during a test may provide relief from test anxiety.
